Creating a Sub Domain

Sub domains are used when you want to create a sub site of your current website. Eg. http://test.yourdomain.com

To add a sub domain, follow these simple steps :

• Enter your control panel using the login on the homepage
• Within your control panel click on the domains Icon
• You are now in the main area for control of your domain
• Click on the Sub Domain Icon
• Click 'Add New' and choose and input the Name you wish to use, For example a lot of people use this option for a shop on their website.
• Click 'Save'.
• Now when you visit http://test.yourdomain.com your new sub domain is accessible. Content for the sub domain can be uploaded to the main 'wwwroot' folder within the current domain. Eg. sub domain is 'test', the domain is yourdomain.com, when you ftp to yourdomain.com, there will be a folder in the 'wwwroot' called 'test', place all content for this sub domain therein.
